Nouman and Farhan Architects and Engineers is an architecture, engineering, interior design, and construction firm working across Islamabad, Peshawar, and other parts of Pakistan. Our work brings together architectural design, engineering expertise, interior design, and construction under one professional team.
Our story goes back to 1999, when our founder, Farhat Ullah, established the practice under the name FNS Designer & Builders. Over the years, the practice has evolved with changing architectural practices, technologies, and client requirements. Today, the firm continues under the leadership of his sons, Muhammad Nouman and Muhammad Farhan, combining the practical experience of the past with contemporary architectural and engineering approaches.
We believe that good architecture is not only about how a building looks. It is about how it functions, how it responds to its surroundings, how it is built, and how people experience it.
Our Story Since 1999
The foundation of Nouman and Farhan was laid in 1999 by Farhat Ullah, whose work established the values that continue to guide the practice today: hard work, responsibility, quality, and trust.
Farhat Ullah developed the practice through years of involvement in building and construction. His approach was based on understanding the client's requirements and taking responsibility for delivering the work properly.
Although he is no longer with us, his contribution remains an important part of our identity. His sons have continued the practice while developing it into a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, interior design, and construction firm.
For us, this is not simply a change of name or generation. It is a continuation of a family legacy with a renewed professional direction.

Muhammad Nouman – Architectural Engineer
Muhammad Nouman is an Architectural Engineer and partner at Nouman and Farhan. He graduated from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore) with a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering and is registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
His professional experience includes architectural design, engineering coordination, construction execution, and project management.
Early in his career, Muhammad Nouman gained valuable experience in the execution of Emporium Mall, working with AHR Global, an international architectural practice from the UK. This experience provided exposure to the technical coordination, construction requirements, and complexities involved in a large-scale commercial development.
He later worked on the design and execution of the Italian Embassy, as well as high-rise, residential, and other building projects. His professional experience also includes working with Maaksons and Designore, giving him further exposure to architectural design, project coordination, and construction.
At Nouman and Farhan, Muhammad Nouman focuses on architectural engineering, project planning, technical coordination, construction execution, and project management.
Muhammad Farhan – Architect
Muhammad Farhan Farhat is an architect, Project Architect, and partner at Nouman and Farhan. He graduated from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar and is registered with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP).
His professional experience has developed through working with established architectural practices and individual architects.
Muhammad Farhan gained professional experience with Suhail and Fawad Architects in Islamabad, where he developed practical knowledge of architectural design, documentation, coordination, and project development.
He also worked part-time with Hammad Hussain, an award-winning architect, gaining further exposure to architectural design thinking, contemporary approaches, and the development of architectural concepts.
At Nouman and Farhan, his work includes architectural design, concept development, planning, visualization, interior design, client coordination, and project development.
His approach combines creative design thinking with practical considerations, ensuring that architectural ideas can be developed into functional and buildable spaces.
